An open letter to REVOLTING people...

Today I found myself shocked and annoyed! A number of men messaged Road to Spirit’s page. Their messages were inappropriate and gross.

Advice I received was as follows: 1. Report and block

2. Remove your face from the post

Whhhhhat? It’s 2021! Surely this is not brushed off as a facebook norm? Are there so many people being disgusting that we meet it with indifference?

Those of you who follow my blog will know that social media was a huge revolt against my fear of exposure, and this is what I am met with! Disgusting old men with corny pick up lines and hidden agendas! Vulgar cowards who hide behind fake profiles.

And as for Facebook: I had authenticate myself so many times that even I began to doubt my identity! They took down a Jim Carrey video that I shared (because it was beautiful) incase I used it to get more likes. But a spineless pervert creates a profile with no info and a plain black profile picture. REALLY!

Why the hell should I take my picture down? Do you know how long it took me to love myself? Even if I took a picture of myself parading down the beach in a thong (whaaaa haaaaa😂😂 hopefully one day) These morons do not get to say whatever they like and I still wouldn’t desearve it! I don’t know what they thought my reaction would be... “Finally, a nasty old man to call my own”🙄 I felt really uncomfortable and disappointed. I told myself not to let it bother me, tried not let it lower my vibe. Here’s the problem; IT BLOODY BOTHERS ME! IT IS NOT OK! WTF!

I was furious. At one point I thought I might spontaneously combust! Fortunately I had a distracting thought before it could happen 🔥 Write about it! Yeeeessss! I took it as a message from spirit! Let it out.

Dear Revolting Human

I’m not sure who you think you are. Fortunately I know exactly who I am. I want you to know that today you chose a fierce woman who is standing in her power...

You don’t get to send messages like that TO ANYONE! I hope you realize that today you were the man that mothers warn their children about. You were the man I will teach my sons not to be! Though you think yourself sexy AF I ASSURE YOU, the only word you brought to mind was “yuk!” Is that the man you want to be?

Would you let someone speak to you your child like that? Just because they posted a picture!!!

Maybe you thought because I’m spiritual I wouldn’t make a fuss? I would just say namaste 🙏🏼 and meditate on your sad, desperate plea for attention. 🧘‍♂️ No! It is my spirit that says you should be ashamed! It is my spirit that calls yours to be better!!

Stop being an idiot, show some respect!!! It’s 2021 and tolerance for this crap is scarce!
